While we do not take images of clients for social media, should such a scenario arise, we will always obtain explicit permission, either verbally or in writing, before publication.

We may disclose your personal information overseas recipients for processing, data storage or back-up purposes which may include the processing of diagnostic images, pathology or laboratory results, management of adverse medical event data, cloud-based medical record storage, telemedicine consultations, and other veterinary support purposes
In certain circumstances, we may disclose personal information to overseas service providers to assist in providing our services, including cloud-based practice management systems, telemedicine platforms, AI-based radiology support, and pathology laboratories These providers may be located in countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. These recipients are carefully selected based on their ability to provide adequate safeguards for your personal information. 4.3 Use of Pet Images
Occasionally we may photograph animals while in our care — for example during treatment, surgery, recovery or routine care — for internal records, staff training, quality assurance, or for public-facing purposes such as our website, social media, promotional materials or other communications. By engaging our services you acknowledge and agree that we may use such photographs at our discretion, subject to the following provisions:
- We will not use any photograph that reveals or identifies you (the owner), any family member, or any other person, without your separate and explicit consent.
- If you prefer that no photographs of your pet be used publicly, you may inform our staff either when you first bring your animal in, or at any point during their care. Upon request we will respect that preference and ensure no publicly visible photographs of your pet are published.
4.4 If we share images or personal information with third parties (for example, marketing agencies, social-media platforms or other service providers), we will only do so in a manner consistent with the permissions described above and taking all reasonable steps to ensure the privacy and security of your information.
4.5 We take reasonable steps to protect personal information — including images — from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, in line with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the guidance of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
4.6 You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information (including any images) that we hold about you or your pet, subject to any legal or regulatory obligations.
