Louise

About:

Louise has been an invaluable member of our team at Vets of Geelong since 2015, bringing with her over two decades of experience in veterinary nursing. Her journey began in 2002, and by 2006, while working full-time and studying part-time off-campus, she earned her full qualification. Louise holds licenses in microchipping of domestic pets and radiology, underscoring her commitment to comprehensive pet care.

At our clinic, Louise serves as our dedicated nurse trainer, passionately imparting her knowledge to the newest generation of veterinary nurses. She ensures a smooth induction process, acquainting new team members with the high standards of care synonymous with Vets of Geelong.

Louise’s expertise shines brightest in surgical settings, whether routine or emergency, where her meticulous approach ensures the best outcomes for our patients. Equally, she finds joy in educating pet owners, sharing her knowledge to foster healthier, happier lives for pets and their families. Known for her soft spot for geriatric patients and Border Collies, Louise’s compassion extends to every furry friend she meets.

Outside of work, Louise thrives in nature, whether hiking up mountains or snowboarding down slopes. She also enjoys tending to her vegetable garden, preferring the outdoors whenever possible.

Louise’s beloved Border Collie, CJ (Cheeky Junior), keeps her on her toes both at home and in the clinic, adding joy to her days inside and outside of work.
