Our puppy and dog school offers essential training and socialisation classes to help your new furry family member or mature dog develop good behaviours and become a well-adjusted companion.
All classes are conducted by our experienced trainer, Lisa, who brings over 36 years of dog training expertise.
A fun, supportive start to build confidence, social skills and good habits. Run by our trainer Lisa using positive reinforcement and gentle handling. A 6-week Family-friendly course.
You’ll learn:
Name + coming when called (even with distractions)
No jumping up
Sit / drop / stand
Stay / wait
Lead walking basics
Calm greetings with people + other dogs
Simple tricks + confidence-building experiences
For slightly older puppies to build on early training with socialisation and basic obedience in a positive environment. A 6-week Family-friendly course.
You’ll learn:
Name + recall under distraction
No jumping up
Sit / drop / stand
Stay / wait
Lead walking basics
Appropriate play + greetings
Simple tricks + real-world confidence
For that “teenage” stage—focus on real-life manners, clearer communication, and calm behaviour out and about.
8 weekly classes | 45 min | small groups (usually 5 dogs)
Not suitable for reactive/aggressive dogs.
Training includes:
Connection + focus around distractions
Recall under distraction
Loose lead walking (real-world settings)
Sit / drop / stand (incl. hand signals)
Stay / wait
Mat training
Tricks to support learning
Take-home lesson plan provided each week.
Skill-focused classes you can book individually or as a short block. Each session targets one specific skill area.
6 weekly classes | 45 min | small groups (usually 4 dogs)
Not suitable for reactive/aggressive dogs.
