Julie grew up in the Werribee area and has always had a strong passion for medicine and animal care. While completing her undergraduate Biomedical Science degree at Deakin University, she realised she could combine both interests through a career in veterinary medicine. Julie went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at University of Melbourne in 2018.
Julie enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery and is passionate about helping pets live happy, healthy lives through every stage of life. She is known for her caring and approachable nature and enjoys building long-term relationships with both patients and their families.
Whether it’s routine preventative care, medical investigations, or surgical procedures, Julie loves the variety that veterinary practice brings and enjoys working closely with clients to achieve the best outcomes for their pets.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys reading fiction, baking, travelling, and spending quality time at home with her husband, son, and two very energetic dogs, Lexi the Golden Retriever and Loki the German Shepherd.
